Deploying a Wireless LAN

Wireless networks are relatively easy to implement these days, especially when compared to the prospect of having to route wires when deploying a new wired network or overhauling an existing one. The first step in planning a wireless LAN deployment should be to decide on your wireless networking technology standard. Keep in mind that the standard you need to accommodate your network access points and routers as well as the entire collection of wireless network interface cards (NICs) for your computers and other network resources.

LAN Airlines was a Chilean Airline based in the country’s capital, Santiago de Chile. The airline is now rebranded as LATAM Airlines (also known as LATAM Chile) after a merger in 2012 between Chile’s LAN Airlines and Brazil’s TAM Airlines in which its airline subsidiaries, such as LAN Colombia, (formerly Aires) were integrated into the brand.

LAN Airlines was the flag carrier of Chile and was one of the most recognisable airline brands in South America. It was based at Comodoro Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport (SCL), Chile, and flew to destinations around Latin America, the US, Canada, the Caribbean, Oceania and Europe. LAN had a number of subsidiary airlines, including LAN Argentina, LAN Colombia, LAN Express, LAN Ecuador, and LAN Perú.

LATAM Chile had codeshare agreements with the following airlines; Aeromexico, Air China, Air Italy, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Interjet, Jetstar Airways, Korean Air, Japan Airlines, Korean Air, Iberia, Qantas, LATAM Brasil, LATAM Paraguay, Qantas, Qatar Airways and WestJet.

Types of Local-Area Networks (LANs)

There are many different types of LANs, with Ethernets being the most common for PCs. Most Apple Macintosh networks are based on Apple’s AppleTalk network system, which is built into Macintosh computers. The following characteristics differentiate one LAN from another:

• Topology: The geometric arrangement of devices on the network. For example, devices can be arranged in a ring or in a straight line.
• Protocols: The rules and encoding specifications for sending data. The protocols also determine whether the network uses a peer-to-peer or client/server architecture.
• Media: Devices can be connected by twisted-pair wire, coaxial cables, or fiber optic cables. Some networks do without connecting media altogether, communicating instead via radio waves.

LANINFO XP

Business Class

The Business Class cabin was LAN Airlines most-premium and best cabin-class. It provided a high-end cabin and in-flight experience like no other.

Business Class Facilities

Passengers could get delicious meals from the airline’s high-class Business Class menu. The Business Class in-flight menu also included an extensive selection of beverages such as beers, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks.

Passengers could enjoy in-flight entertainment through the airline’s great in-flight entertainment system. The entertainment system is a 15.4 high-resolution screen that was built into every Business Class seat and each screen came with noise-cancelling headphones. There’s currently no Wi-Fi connectivity on LATAM Airlines Chile.

Business Class Seats

Business Class seats were full of comfort. The seats are spacious and allow you to lie flat. The pitch between each Business Class seat was 74 inches. Each seat was built-in with a personal in-flight entertainment that could be used to access the airline’s in-flight entertainment system.

History — Past Life Edit

In Ling Lan’s past life, she was bed-ridden due to a mysterious sickness which continuously broke down her body — every waking second, she was forced to suffer excruciating pain due to the continuous destruction and regeneration of her cells. Despite her treatment being supported by the government due to the strangeness of her illness, she died at a young age. After more than two decades of mental, emotional, and financial pressure, her family was saddened but also relieved at Ling Lan’s death.

Later she learnt that her suffering stemmed from Little Four’s existence and unlocking of her spiritual power, destroying her body because of its inability to support Ling Lan’s immense spiritual self.

** Some Sonoff devices seem to not boot directly into LAN mode despite internet access being blocked; there is an ongoing issue open to investigate this and attempt to automate the process of forcing a Sonoff into LAN mode.
Until this is implemented / resolved, for some devices you may need to let it first boot with internet access, then block it’s connectivity to get it into LAN mode (which is quite inconvenient if your device cannot be permanently powered).

Setup

Before you can use this platform to control your Sonoff from Home Assistant, you should perform the following setup steps:

1. Initialise the Sonoff device normally using the eWeLink app, connecting it to your home WiFi network etc.
2. Check you can switch the device on/off «normally» (via the Itead cloud) using the eWeLink app.
3. Find out the IP address of the device, and make that IP address static on your router so this doesn’t change in future.
4. Block the Sonoff from accessing the internet at all, but ensure it can still talk to other devices in your home network.
5. Wait a couple of minutes for the Sonoff LED to start flashing (two flashes every 2 seconds).

Congrats, you can now uninstall the eWeLink app — you’ll won’t need it again as your Sonoff can now be controlled directly via WebSocket messages on port 8081!

Термин LAN, как таковой, это аббревиатура от Local Area Network, что переводится как «Локальная Вычислительная Сеть» (ЛВС). Это широкое название, объединяющее в себя группу компьютеров и периферийных устройств, объединенных в одну общую сеть посредством коммутаторов, кабелей и беспроводного соединения.

LAN порт – этот разъем используется для организации локальной сети, через него с помощью сетевых кабелей подключается все оборудование:

• Компьютеры
• Принтеры
• SIP телефоны
• другая техника

Его так же называют портом Ethernet. Не стоит путать аппаратный порт LAN с сетевыми портами, такими как, например 80-й порт HTTP.

Данное подключение используется для организации  сети в квартире, офисе, в загородном доме, то есть, когда подключаемые компьютеры расположены на близком расстоянии.

Теперь разберемся, как настроить LAN на роутере. В начале, необходимо присвоить роутеру IP адрес, по которому к нему можно будет подключаться с других компьютеров.

Ни всегда роутер будет отвечать на проверку соединения с помощью команды «ping», в некоторых роутерах не поддерживается эта опция, а в некоторых она настраиваемая.

А так же настройкой DHCP: включение – отключение сервера и диапазон раздаваемых IP адресов.

Чтобы не было возможной путаницы при использовании DHCP, желательно зарезервировать вручную на роутере IP адреса, которые он будет раздавать для всего оборудования в сети. Для упрощения этого можно посмотреть таблицу клиентов, и переписать из нее MAC адреса подключенного оборудования и выданные каждому IP адреса, вот их и зарезервировать.

Если количества LAN портов не достаточно для подключения всего оборудования, то можно использовать коммутатор, предварительно его настроив: задав IP адрес, маску сети, в качестве шлюза по умолчанию следует выбрать IP адрес главного роутера, имеющего выход в интернет.

При использовании коммутатора не забудьте отключить на нем раздачу IP адресов по DHCP.

Конечно же, локальная сеть включает в себя и беспроводное соединение устройств с различными мобильными устройствами, но это уже относится скорее к настройкам Wi-Fi.

Ling Lan was an outwardly cheerful person in her previous life to avoid causing sadness for her relatives.

During her current life, Ling Lan was traumatized by the perpetually-smiling Number Five’s hellish training and thus began following the example of Instructors Number One and Number Nine by always wearing a «cold poker face». She also is highly protective of her followers and loved ones. For example, Ling Lan is especially protective of her childhood followers (seen by Ling Lan as little brothers, sometimes as sons of her own); even if a close friend joins her team, if he is unable to work well with her other followers she will turn him away. Li Lanfeng closely avoided being left behind by Ling Lan for this reason.

She also has a very beautiful and bright smile, even having a spirit-affecting trait related to smiling. Unfortunately, her ice-cold slackface is most often hiding her natural charm.

She seemed to take the role of a spiritual life coach of her friends and subordinates. Even if she showed them how ruthless she can be, she doesn’t allow her actions to be viewed in negative light and affect their mental health for fear that it could cause latent problems in their future. Thus, whenever she notice some problem in their mentality, she would step up and encourage them.

Ling Lan is showed to have complete faith in those who believe in her (members of the Lingtian Battle Clan and 250 Mecha Clan). She believes that since these people puts their whole trust in her, she could trust them back in return.

When Ling Lan applied for the formation of a battle clan in the Mecha World, the assignment showed her ruthlessness and decisiveness as a leader. She had Li Lanfeng use his spectre powers kill the 20 hackers from the Caesar Empire. While Li Shiyu was internally reprimanding her for this action, he can’t help but commend her firm decision, saying that she has the heart of a true soldier which he lacked.
